Sri Lanka’s tour of Pakistan, to be played in the UAE, will see the two teams clash in two Tests, five One Day Internationals, and three T20I matches. This will be the first time that Pakistan will take the field in over half a decade without either Misbah-Ul-Haq and Younis Khan. With the duo retiring, Sarfaraz Ahmed is the new captain of the Pakistan
side who comes into the series after winning the ICC Champions Trophy in June and then getting a morale boost by hosting World XI in three T20Is in Lahore.
The second Test match in the series will be a day-night contest in Dubai and will be the first day-night Test for Sri Lanka. Pakistan had played one earlier against West Indies.
