Olympic-bound Indian tennis player Sumit Nagal made an exit after suffering a straight-set loss in the Swedish Open. Nagal lost to world number 36 Mariano Navone of Argentina 6-4, 6-2 in the Men’s singles round of 16 last evening. Van Assche defeated the Indian-Polish pair of Sumit Nagal and Karol Drzewiecki in straight sets 6-3, 6-4. 

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Nagal achieved a new career-high ranking of 68 in the men’s singles category in the latest ATP Rankings.
