In Tokyo Paralympics 2021, Suyash Narayan Jadhav will participate in the final of Men’s 100m Breaststroke swimming. Para-swimmer Suyash Narayan Jadhav has become the first Indian swimmer to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics.
Avani Lekhara, Sidhartha Babu and Deepak have failed to qualify for R3 Mixed 10m Air Rifle Prone SH1 final. Avani Lekhara got 27th position, Sidharth Babu 40th and Deepak 43rd position.
In Badminton, Pramod Bhagat and Palak Kohli will face Lucas Mazur and Faustine Noel of
France in the mixed doubles of a Group-B match. Palak Kohli will also lock horn with Ayako Suzuki of Japan in Women’s singles of Group-A match. In another event Pramod Bhagat will meet with Manor Sarkar in a Group A match in Men’s single.
Amit Kumar will meet with Dharambir in the Men’s Discus Club Throw event.
India now have two gold, five silver and three bronze medals whereas China tops the table with 60 gold followed by Britain with 29 Gold.
