In tennis, India’s Mukund Sasikumar has advanced to the second round of the Delhi Open. Sasikumar defeated France’s Sascha Gueymard Wayenburg 4-6, 6-2, 6-0 in the opening round of Men’s Singles yesterday.

Despite a slow start, Sasikumar turned the match around after losing the first set 4-6. He displayed exceptional skill and resilience to dominate the



next two sets, winning them 6-2 and a flawless 6-0 to seal the match. He will take on Belgium’s Michael Geerts in the next round tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Ramkumar Ramanathan has bowed out of the tournament after losing to Czechia’s Dalibor Svrcina, 2-6, 6-2, 0-6 in the first round of Men’s Singles.
