Thailand has defeated Kenya 53-21 in a group match of the Kabaddi World Cup in Ahmedabad. Thailand captain Khomsan Thongkham led from the front and scored 14 points to lead his team to the impressive win.
It was a disappointing performance by Kenya who had shown so much spirit and heart in their previous match against Iran. Thailand are now third in Group B with 10 points from three games
whereas Kenya are fourth with six points from the same number of matches.
In another match played yesterday, Bangladesh lost to South Korea 32-35. The win means Korea remain unbeaten in the Pool A standings and jump over India with three wins in three matches to post 15 points.
In today's match, England will clash with Argentina while United States will take on Poland.
