Tokyo Olympics: Wrestler Ravi Dahiya to fight for Gold in 57 kg free style category

In Wrestling, Ravi Dahiya will fight for the gold against the reigning world champion Zavur Uguev of ROC in the freestyle 57kg final. In women's category, Anshu Malik takes on Valeria Koblova of ROC in 57 kg Repechage. Vinesh Phogat will play in the pre quarter final in 53 kg category freestyle. In men’s section, Deepak Punia will fight for Bronze medal in 86 kg category.

 

In Golf, Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar are now in action in Women's Individual Stroke Play Round 2. Yesterday in the games, Boxer Lovlina Borgohain bagged Bronze Medal in welterweight 69



kilogram category losing to World Champion Busenaz Surmeneli of Turkey in the semi-final. This was the third medal for the country in the ongoing games. 

However in Hockey, women’s team lost to Argentina 2-1 in the Semi-Final. Argentina will today clash with Netherlands for the Gold. Indian eves will meet Germany tomorrow at 7:00 AM for Bronze medal. 

Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra sealed an automatic qualification for the Men's finals by throwing 86.65 meters in his first attempt.
