TOPS To Finance Prannoy’s Trainer During Paris Olympics

Union Sports Ministry’s Mission Olympic Cell (MOC) has approved proposal of Olympic-bound shuttler HS Prannoy to provide financial assistance to his trainer Rohan George Mathews stay in Paris, France. Mathews’ expenditure will be covered under the Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS).

 

TOPS will finance his airfare, lodging, daily fees, visa fee, miscellaneous expenses such as local



transportation, and medical expenditures and will also provide him an Out of Pocket Allowance for the duration. The MOC also approved proposals of athletes Vikash Singh, Suraj Panwar, Ankita Dhyani, Sarvesh Kushare and shooter Anantjeet Singh Naruka for assistance towards various equipment for training and competition. The Paris Olympics 2024 is scheduled to begin from 26th of July.
