The trophies and mascots for the inaugural Kho Kho World Cup to be held in India were unveiled in New Delhi yesterday. The tournament, scheduled from January 13 to 19, will feature 21 men’s teams and 20 women’s teams from 24 countries. The men’s championship trophy is blue, symbolising trust and



determination, while the women’s trophy is green, representing growth and vitality. 

The mascots, gazelles named Tejas and Tara, embody speed, agility, and teamwork. This event marks a significant milestone for Kho Kho, aiming to establish it as a global sport.
