US golfer Tiger Woods hospitalized after a car crash

Golf legend Tiger Woods suffered serious injuries to both legs as his car flew off the road yesterday near Los Angeles in the USA. Woods underwent surgery after the collision, said Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva. No other vehicles or passengers were involved in the crash which occurred on a road known for fatal accidents over the



years.

Woods was found trapped in his vehicle but conscious and was able to identify himself.  Firefighters took Woods out from the wreckage of his SUV and transported him to a local hospital where he underwent surgery. Forty Five years old Tiger Woods, one of the most successful golfers of all time, has won 15 major golf championships.
