US Open: Rafael Nadal, Daniil Medvedev set for summit clash

In US Open Tennis, Daniil Medvedev of Russia and Rafael Nadal have a set up a summit clash winning their semi-final matches today.

In the first semi-final today, the fifth seed Medvedev reached his first Grand Slam final with a tense semi-final victory over Grigor Dimitrov, 7-6, 6-4, 6-3.

Nadal beat Matteo Berrettini of Italy, 7-6, 6-4, 6-1.  

In women's singles, Serena Williams and Bianca Andreescu will clash for the title in the final tomorrow. The American overpowered the Ukrainian Elina Svitolina 6-3, 6-1. The Canadian 19-year-old Andreescu defeated Swiss Belinda Bencic 7-6, 7-5.
