Bengaluru: After dominating the opening day, India ‘A’ seized control of the game reducing Bangladesh ‘A’ to 36/2 on a rain-curtailed second day of the three-day encounter at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, on Monday.
With skipper Mominul Haque (9 batting) and Liton Das (7 batting) in the middle, Bangladesh have a daunting task on the final day being 147 runs behind in the second innings with eight wickets in hand as Ishwar Pandey and Jayant Yadav struck once each.

skipper Shikhar Dhawan, unbeaten on 116 overnight completed 150 (146b, 18x4, 3x6) before contributions from middle-order batsmen Vijay Shankar (86, 110b, 4x4, 4x6) and Karun Nair (71, 97b, 12x4) propelled India ‘A’ to 411/5 declared for a 183-run lead.
