Mudit Khater of Delhi Public School, Nacharam set a world record in the ‘Fastest recitation of English alphabets’ category. The award was presented on June 20 after a series of trials by an eminent panel from the Exclusive World Record site.

Speaking on the achievement principal Sunitha Rao said that it gives the school immense pleasure to watch their students soar to great heights. The school has always encouraged students and provided a platform to bring out diverse talents in them and takes pride in their achievement, said senior vice–principal Nandita Sunkara.

Mudit, a student of grade XII in Delhi Public School, Nacharam developed an interest in vocabulary after



participating in various school events and class assemblies. In a quest for a new word for the ‘Word of the Day’ in the assembly, he came across the site – ‘Fastest English alphabets typed from A to Z’ and it triggered in him the idea to contest for the fastest recitation of alphabets. After a rigorous search, he could enrol in the Exclusive World Record site in the said category. After intensive and persistent efforts in recitation, he could finally set a world record by reciting the alphabets in 1.63 seconds. Highly elated by his achievement, Mudit attributed the credit of his success to his parents and teachers who have constantly guided and supported him. School congratulated Mudit on his extraordinary achievement.
