Biker bumps into pothole, gets crushed under bus wheels in Thane

Thane: A bike rider was crushed to death by a state bus after his motorcycle bumped into a pothole in Thane's Kajupada area on Tuesday morning. The incident took place at around 11 AM, on Ghodbunder Road.

The victim fell down after his bike overturned due to a pothole, following which a state bus coming from rear drove



over him, news agency reported.

A case of accidental death has been registered with Kashimira police station and further investigations are on.

Notably, commuters have long complained of potholes on Ghodbunder Road and the situation has worsened following heavy rains in the city in the last two days.
