Shimla: Earthquake tremors were felt in Himachal Pradesh in the e hours of Saturday morning. According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake with a magnitude of 3.2 on the Richter scale occurred 22 km east of Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh at 5:17 am.
However, there is no information about the loss of life and property due to this earthquake.
A day earlier, another earthquake that occurred at 2:12 am on Thursday-Friday night in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, shook the people of Joshimath. Due to rain and snowfall during the day, this trouble-increasing calamity came for the troubled people.
However, the magnitude of the earthquake was very low at 2.9 on the Richter scale. Due to this
people did not face much trouble.
Since the cracks in the houses of Joshimath, there is a possibility of increasing the problems of the people in case of an earthquake-like situation. There was no loss of life or property due to the earthquake here also.
At the same time, the process of demolishing hotels Malari Inn and Mount View, which have become dangerous due to land subsidence, is expected to continue.
The epicentre of the earthquake was about 240 km from Joshimath. The apprehensions of damage in Joshimath due to the earthquake worried the administrative officials as well. Information about this place was asked for in a hurry. However, since the earthquake was low intensity, there was no loss reported.
