Aadhaar is a 12-digit identification number issued by the uidai organization to every indian citizen. It is very important to ensure that the information in one's Aadhaar is accurate and up-to-date. Here is how you can update your Aadhaar details and how much it will cost. Also, know how many times a piece of information can be changed.

Please edit the correct information as some information cannot be changed more than once. To access Aadhaar online services, a registered mobile number is required. mobile numbers cannot be updated online. To update your mobile number, you need to visit the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra (ASK) or Aadhaar Enrollment Update Center.

Aadhaar payment details:
1. Compulsory biometric Update - Free
2. Address Update (Any Type) – Rs. 50/- (Inclusive of GST)
3. biometric Update – Rs. 100/- (Inclusive of



GST)
4. biometric with Address Update Rs. 100/-(including taxes)
5. Aadhaar download and color printing on A4 paper – Rs.30/- (inclusive of GST) per Aadhaar.

According to uidai office information, the Aadhaar card holder can now change his name on the Aadhaar card only twice. The date of Birth (DOB) in your Aadhaar can be updated only once. More than one change is considered an exceptional event. According to uidai, if a 2nd-time update is required then update the request at the Aadhaar center and approach the concerned regional office of uidai for approval of the update under the exception. 

Gender update is allowed only once on an Aadhaar card. In case of 2nd update, the request should be updated at the Aadhaar Center and the concerned Regional office of uidai should be approached for approval of the update under the exemption.
