South Africa's attacking batsman David Miller‘s daughter passed away on Saturday after suffering from cancer, according to media reports.
Miller, who is currently touring India as part of the South African side, shared the shocking news on social media. Along with a short video, Miller wrote, ‘RIP my dear princess, love will always be there!’
Miller had earlier shared an Instagram story, writing, “Going to miss you my skut! Thee biggest heart I have ever
known. You took fighting to a different level- always incredibly positive and a smile on your face.”
The southpaw who has a habit of toying with the opposition bowling, played a memorable knock of 106 not out in 47 balls that almost won his side the second T20International against India in Guwahati.
Miller is now part of the team that is leading 1-0 in the three-match ODI series. Miller has represented his country in 147 ODIs and 107 T20Internationals.
