In the United States, the General Services Administration(GSA) has acknowledged Joe Biden as the apparent winner of the presidential election following weeks of inaction.
President Donald Trump has called on his agencies to cooperate.
He said conventional progress should start for President-elect Joe Biden to get to work. The president said the government organization regulating the handover must "do what should be done", even as he
promised to continue challenging his election route.
The advancement came as Mr. Biden's triumph in the territory of Michigan was authoritatively confirmed which was a significant hit to Mr. Trump.
After the GSA announcement, the Pentagon said it would give "backing to the Biden group in an expert, methodical, and the proficient way that is befitting of the public's desire for the Department and its commitment to national security".
