Karimnagar: BJP general secretary and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Tuesday alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao would get his share from commission that BRS MLAs collect from Dalit Bandhu beneficiaries. He was referring to Rao’s comment that he knew some BRS legislators were collecting commissions from welfare scheme beneficiaries.
"When people voted BRS for two times, KCR had alcohol and slept in the farm house. When the BJP government sanctioned funds for the construction of houses to the Telangana state, he diverted the funds and did not sanction even a single house to poor families," alleged Sanjay while speaking at a road show organised to support BJP candidate Arepally Mohan in Manakondur constituency in Karimnagar district.
Speaking on the issue of fixing meters to farm pump sets, Sanjay Kumar said Rao was blaming the Centre. "It is
KCR who decided to fix meters, but he took a back step when the BJP government warned him against such a step,
"By boasting that he would allot a job for each member of the family, he not only deceived the Telangana people but also around 50 lakh of unemployed youth with the leakage of question papers and by not paying the unemployment dole," Sanjay said.
He asked why local BRS MLA Rasamayee Balakishan was not questioning Rao for not distributing the 2BHK houses, and not implementing the unemployment dole.
"It is the Narendra Modi government which is distributing rice to ration card holders. For the next five years, the BJP government will distribute free rice to the poor along with a minimum support price of Rs 3,100 per one quintal of paddy to the farmers," he said.
