Congress MP and Huzurnagar Assembly candidate N. Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the Congress' graph was ascending by the day while that of the BRS was nose-diving. He said that the Six Guarantees' and 'Abhaya Hastham manifesto' of the Congress were getting overwhelming response from all sections of people.
The people were eager to bring the party to power for the benefits it had promised, said Uttam Kumar Reddy at campaign meetings in Huzurnagar and Kodad on Sunday.
Meanwhile, senior BRS leader J. Srinivas Reddy joined the
Congress in the presence of Uttam Kumar Reddy. Addressing the meeting, the latter said that BRS, and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, had lost the trust of the people. Their own party leaders joining Congress indicates the BRS erosion, he said, while adding that the people were so vexed with the BRS rule that they would throw it out on November 30.
Uttam Kumar Reddy said that Rao has failed to fulfill the promises he had made and hence the people have decided to bring the Congress to power.
