Over 700 Crore in Cash, Gold, Liquor Confiscated in Hyderabad

The seizure of cash, gold and liquor among others crossed the Rs 700 crore mark since October 9, when the Assembly elections were announced. On Sunday, the figure stood at Rs 709 crore.

Of this, Rs 282 crore was

cash seized from various persons. Liquor valued at 117 crore, Rs 39.48 crore worth drugs, Rs 186 crore gold, silver and diamonds and freebies of Rs 83.08 crore have been seized so far.
