Traffic restrictions at Raj Bhavan Hyderabad on Friday

On the account of Constitutional Day of India celebrations at Raj Bhavan on Friday at 9 am, the Hyderabad Traffic Police said traffic restrictions would be in place.

As the Raj Bhavan road from Monappa Island (Rajiv Gandhi Statue) to VV Statue Junction was likely to witness heavy traffic, traffic congestion was expected from 8 am to 12 noon. On a need basis, the traffic would be diverted or stopped at Monappa Island,



while the road from VV Statue Junction to Raj Bhavan quarters (Metro Residency) would be closed for general traffic from both sides during this period.

There will be a single line parking from Metro Residency to NASR School, and from Lake View to VV Statue Junction (Opposite lane of Lake View Guest House). Police have requested people to avoid the Raj Bhavan road during the specified timings and take alternate routes.
