Over 30,000 people visited the museum at the statue of Dr B.R. Ambedkar at NTR Marg along the Hussainsagar on Monday, after it was inaugurated to mark his birth anniversary. An HMDA official said the museum, featuring vignettes from the life of the Father of the Constitution, would remain open for a month. After that, it would be closed for an



upgrade. Though the statue was inaugurated two years ago by then Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, the BRS government did not open the museum.

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, along with ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Damodar Rajanarsimha, inaugurated the facility after paying tribute to Dr Ambedkar.
