At least 10 people are feared dead after a six-storey building collapsed in Hyderabad this evening. The collapse took place in Nanakramguda, an information technology suburb.
Reports say the building had recently been constructed and tiling and plumbing work was on.
There were reportedly five families residing in the building when it collapsed. Four belonged to tile workers and plumbers while one belonged to the building's watchman.

were pulled out of the rubble and shifted to a nearby hospital, reported news agency IANS.
A team of the National Disaster Response Force or NDRF is at the spot, helping in rescue efforts.
Telangana Home Minister N Narsimha Reddy, Excise Minister Padma Rao and Cyberabad Police Chief also rushed to the accident site.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Vishwa Prasad said violation of rules has been noticed in the construction of the building.
