Ten Omicron variant positive international passengers who were isolated and received symptomatic treatment at Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS), Gachibowli, have recovered and were discharged on Friday, according to the Director of Public Health (DPH), Dr G Srinivasa Rao.
Out of the total 38 Omicron positive cases in Hyderabad, 10 international arrivals have recovered while the remaining 28 continue to receive treatment at TIMS, Gachibowli.

international passengers, who arrived at RGIA, Shamshabad, were screened and underwent RT-PCR tests out of which five more have tested Covid positive and their blood samples have been sent for full genome sequencing to ascertain their Omicron status. Genome sequencing results of 15 blood samples of Covid positive passengers are awaited.
So far, 10,912 international passengers at RGIA Shamshabad have underwent RT-PCR tests and 75 of them tested Covid positive out of which 38 tested positive for Omicron variant.
