The central government has sanctioned Rs 100 crore for seven minority residential schools in Telangana on the request of Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali. The Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Revenue had requested Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi during the meeting of Ministers



for Minority Affairs in Chennai on September 23 to sanction Rs 1,200 crore for 120 Telangana minority residential schools. Reacting to the request, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi called the Deputy Chief Minister and informed him that Rs 100 crore was sanctioned for seven Telangana minority residential schools.
