101 DSP-rank officers promoted

Former officer on special duty to the CM was appointed as Hyderabad police commissioner's Task Force chief on Wednesday by DGP Anurag Sharma while promoting 31 officers of additional superintendent rank to superintendent (non-cadre). Similarly , 101 DSP-rank officers were promoted to additional SPs.

The orders were issued by DGP after he got consent from the home department. Additional superintendent of police, intelligence, P Radhakishan Rao was appointed as Hyderabad DCP (Task Force)



and S Chaitanya Kumar is going to be additional DCP (Task Force).Cyberabad additional DCP (Crimes) Janaki Sharmila is elevated to DCP rank.

Babu Rao, additional deputy commissioner of police (South Zone) has been transferred as DCP (City Armed Reserve). Additional DCP rank officer PV Padmaja who is DCP (Shamshabad) has been elevated to DCP rank in the same position. B Balakrishna, additional DCP of Hyderabad Metro, was elevated to DCP but in the same posting.
