12-year-old girl lodges complaint against father over frequent thrashing in Jagtial

Unable to tolerate frequent thrashing by her father, a 12-year-old girl approached the Jagtial police and lodged a complaint against her father.

Sriramulapalli of Gollapalli mandal, said she was disturbed after the death of her mother some time ago. Her situation worsened further as her father, who remarried, started harassing her with regular scoldings and thrashings.
