Since the launch of the Covid vaccination drive on January 16, a total of 1.41 crore individuals from all categories have received either first or both the doses of Covid vaccines in Telangana.
Of the 1.41 crore individuals, a total of 30.57 lakh people have received both the first and second dose while 1.11 crore individuals from across the State have received the first dose of the Covid vaccine.
On an average, on a daily basis, close to 1.5 lakh individuals are getting vaccinated across private and government-run Covid vaccination centres in Telangana. On Monday, 1,59,719 individuals received the vaccines, out of which 1,20,482 persons received their second dose of Covid vaccine while 39,237 individuals received first dose of the vaccine.
Out of the 30.57 lakh individuals who completed
their vaccination by getting administered both the doses of Covid vaccine, 2,20,586 were health care workers, 1,84,365 beneficiaries were front line workers, 21,73,435 persons were above 45 years with co-morbid conditions and the rest of the 4,79,610 were individuals between 18 years and 44 years.
A total of 53,58,566 individuals who are above 45 years with pre-existing diseases and 51,32,190 persons between the age group of 18 years and 44 years have received the first dose of Covid vaccine. About 3,02,484 health care workers and another 3,14,411 front line workers have so far received the first dose of Covid vaccine.
Overall, including all the age groups, healthcare and frontline workers, a total of 1,11,07,651 individuals have received the first dose of Covid vaccine.
