Tue 11 Jul 2023, 11:40:25
The special investigation team (SIT) investigating the TSPSC question paper leakage has arrested 19 persons in connection with leaking question papers and appearing for the examination using leaked question papers. The arrested include candidates who had appeared for the AE examination held in March 2023, mediators and associates of former northern discom official Pula Ramesh.

Ramesh had supplied question papers to the candidates for huge payments. Some of them had paid advance amounts, while others who could not pay had

handed him their original educational certificates as surety for payment at a later date.

The mediators played an active role in arranging the candidates, police said. The SIT found that two days prior to the examination, the candidates arrived in the city, met Ramesh and prepared from the leaked question papers supplied to them.

SIT teams are hunting to identify and nab several others who are associated with the leakage scam. With this, SIT has so far arrested 92 persons.
