2 killed in road accident at Gajwel

Two persons including National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) security supervisor died in a road accident at Ring Road in Gajwel on Friday morning. The deceased have been identified as M Lingaiah, 25, and M Binesh, 28, both natives of Ramagundam. Two more persons - M Mahesh, 38, a fire safety supervisor at NTPC and resident of Ramagundam and K Pranay Sagar, a car driver and native of Karimnagar, suffered injuries in the incident, according to police. 

The



accident occured when a speeding lorry rammed into the car driven by Sagar at the Ring Road. The police rushed the injured persons to a corporate hospital in Secunderabad and the bodies were shifted to Gajwel government hospital for an autopsy. 

The police registered a case and are collecting more details from the injured persons to know the reasons behind the accident. Further investigation is on.
