20 sheep die after drinking water mixed with pesticide in Khammam

Khammam: As many as 20 sheep died after drinking water mixed with pesticide at Koyachelaka village of Raghunathapalem mandal in the district on Monday.

It was said that the sheep while grazing in a farm field at the village drank pesticide



water kept by a farmer for spraying in the field.

Of the 20 sheep, 17 were said to be belonging to a villager B Lingaiah and three to B Babu. The sheep were reportedly worth Rs 3.25 lakh.
