2,900 private schools in the state have submitted their expense report to the department of school education.Sharing this data during a meeting comprising parents and school managements on Tuesday , the director of school education, G Kishan, reminded school managements that they would be forced to continue with the same fee structure for the academic year 2018-19 unless they have a Divisional Fee Regulation Committee in place.

The Telangana Recognised School Management Association (TRESMA) said that the remaining schools will submit details of fee

structures and account statements by the end of October.

The schools have also raised the issue of non-payment of fees and asked the director to give them protection by including recovery methods in the GO by amending it. They have also requested him to not make it mandatory to have only TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) qualified teachers at least for the next couple of years Until last week, only 130 schools had submitted their data thus forcing the school education department to extend the deadline to October 15.
