342 cars given for minority welfare

Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation on Tuesday distributed 342 cars among the Muslim youth under the driver empowerment programme.

Deputy CM Mohammed Mahmood Ali said the government was committed to Muslim welfare. He said budget for it has been increased, adding that 90, 000 girls



have benefited from Shaadi Mubarak scheme. Home minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy said Shaadi Mubarak and Kalyana Laxmi schemes eased financial burden on the poor.

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi lauded the government for setting up residential schools for Muslim girls.
