The five richest candidates for the November 30 elections come from the BRS and the Congress, among the 3,900 who have filed their papers to contest.

The final list of contesting candidates will be announced after the last day of withdrawal of nominations on November 15. On the last day of filing nominations, there was a huge rush at the Returning Office (RO) in all constituencies on Friday.

Dr G. Vivek (Congress, Chennur) said in his affidavit that he had Rs 606.66 crore worth of properties. He has invested Rs 294 crore in Aurobindo Pharma Limited, Bathina Technologies India, IPL’s Chennai Super Kings, Dr Reddy's Laboratories, Fenoplast, Visaka Industries, India Cements, ITC Ltd and Visaka Thermal Power, among others.

He borrowed from K. Chandra Shekar Rao (Rs 1



crore), Ramalinga Reddy (Rs 10 lakh), Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy (Rs 1.5 crore),' according to his affidavit.

Paila Sekhar Reddy invested Rs 120 crore in SLS Properties, Null and Technologies, Hill and Technologies, and others. He has liabilities to the tune of Rs 90 crore.

Businessman Kotha Prabhakar Reddy possesses Rs 50 crore worth of land at different places while his wife Manjulatha has Rs 58 crore worth of non-agriculture properties.

TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy has 89 cases booked against him in different places. Reddy is accused of abusing police personnel and obstructing public servants during his protests. Goshamahal’s BJP candidate T. Raja Singh has 75 cases against him, mostly pertaining to hate speech.
