40 contract labourers of the Kothagudem Thermal Power Station to be regularised

Minister for Energy G Jagadish Reddy on Thursday issued orders regularising the services of 40 contract labourers of the Kothagudem Thermal Power Station (KTPS).

Speaking on the occasion , he said that the welfare of the workmen was high on the agenda of the Chief Minister , K Chandrashekhar Rao and his government. He said the government had been coming forward to extend the best to the workmen whenever they were denied of their due



on account of legal tangles.

He appreciated the splendid job done by the electricity employees right from the CMD to the workers at the grassroots and helping the State tackle power shortage. He also thanked Chief Minister for his decision to regularise the contract employees in the power utilities. He wanted the power utilities to gear up for round the clock free power supply to the agriculture sector.
