41 People booked for harassing women at Numaish since Jan 11

Hyderabad: For harassing women at the Numaish exhibition since its inception on January 11, city police booked 41 individuals were apprehended by SHE teams of the Hyderabad Police.

To ensure the safety and security of women and children at the exhibition, the Commissioner of Police for Hyderabad has deployed SHE teams in mufti.

The exhibition receives an



average of 50,000 visitors per day, with over a thousand visitors on weekends.

SHE Teams caught 41 offenders who were causing women embarrassment by inappropriately touching them and making lewd comments and gestures with the help of spy cameras. The police stated, "They were presented before the Special Metropolitan Magistrate, who sentenced the delinquents to three to ten days in prison."
