Since the launch of the Covid vaccination drive on January 16, the State Health Department has administered Covid vaccines to 48,14,784 individuals comprising of health care workers, front line workers and individuals above 45 years of age, according to Director of Public Health (DPH), Dr G Srinivasa Rao.
Of the 48,14,784 beneficiaries, a total of 41,77, 399 individuals have received the first dose while 6,37,85 individuals have completed their vaccine schedule by
receiving the second dose.
By way of pre-booking of slots on the CoWIN app, on Sunday authorities administered 41,040 vaccine doses and by Tuesday 2 pm, another 29,070 doses of Covid vaccine were administered. The senior public health official reminded public that no walk-ins or on-sight registrations will be entertained at any Government Covid Vaccination Centre. The vaccines will be administered strictly through slot booking in the CoWIN.
