600 Ex-servicemen, Retired Defence Civilians & their families attended SPARSH outreach programme in Secunderabad

In Telangana, Around 600 Ex-servicemen, Retired Defence Civilians and their families from Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Medak, Nalgonda and Sangareddy districts of Telangana have attended the SPARSH outreach programme conducted at the Defence Pension Disbursement Office, Secunderabad yesterday. The benefits of the new System for Pension Administration (Raksha) -SPARSH have been explained.

SPARSH outreach programmes are being held at various places



in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka states by the Controller of Defence Accounts, Chennai. The Ministry of Defence rolled out a SPARSH Portal and module for Pensioners as a one stop one solution for all Defence and Defence Civilian Pensioners. Controller of Defence Accounts Chennai, T Jayaseelan and other Officers from Defence Accounts Department attended the Programme and clarified the queries of pensioners.
