68 DSPs transferred in Telangana

As many as 68 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) (Civil), including 14 from Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda Police Commissionerate limits, and three from the Crime Investigation Department (CID) were transferred on Friday.

As per the recommendations of the Police Establishment Board, the transfers and posts of the DSPs were ordered with immediate effect. The officers, who were transferred out and not given any posting orders, were directed to report at the office of



the Director-General of Police.

The district Superintendents of Police concerned were asked to relieve the DSPs immediately with directions to report to their new posting immediately.

The new posting of a few officers is as follows: Y Narasimha Reddy (Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Malkajgiri), RG Shiva Maruthi (ACP, Asifnagar), P Venkataramana (ACP Gopalpuram) and M Gangadhar (DSP, CID).
