70,000 passengers avail Metro train facility

More than 70,000 passengers used Khairatabad Metro Station to visit Khairatabad Ganesh on Sunday with around 40,000 exits and 30,000 entries. Special arrangements were made at the station and extra trains with a frequency of 4.5 minute frequency were operated while train timings were also extended by 30 minutes to clear the rush.

In view of heavy rush, six extra ticket counters in addition to



four counters and two vending machines were arranged while extra staff was roped in to guide the commuters at street level and station premises, metro rail officials said.

There were signages for passenger guidance and extra maintenance staff at the station to handle technical issues and special security arrangements was made by HMRL and L&TMRHL.
