Numaish, the most awaited annual exhibition of Hyderabad was inaugurated at Nampally on Sunday amid tight security with much enthusiasm and gusto.The 77th All India Industrial Exhibition was inaugurated by IT minister K Taraka Rama Rao and Minister for Finance and Planning and president of the Exhibition Society Etela Rajender.
Addressing the Exhibition Society members and all those who attended inauguration ceremony, Minister KT Rama Rao said, “like promised by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao last year, the exhibition land which belongs to the government right now
will be given on a 99 year lease to the exhibition society very soon by the Chief Minister himself.”
The All India Industrial Exhibition Society (AIIE) has given permission for 2,500 stalls on a 20-acre lung space at the exhibition ground this year.Several State government agencies, including prisons, DWCRA, I&PR, and central government agencies, including banks, RBI and other departments will also take part in the annual fair.
The fair will continue till February 15. This year the main feature of the Numaish is mobile ATM and free parking.
