In Telangana, 304 nominations were filed yesterday for the Assembly elections. Of them, 31 are from Congress, 21 from BJP, 14 from CPIM, 16 from BSP, 14 from TRS, 2 from TDP, one from AIMIM and 205 from others and independents. With this, the total nominations filed since the notification issued on 12th of this month has gone up to 854.
Meanwhile, BJP has released its fourth list of seven candidates for the polls. Party Central Election Committee Secretary JP Nadda released the list late night. The Party's Women Morcha State President Akula Vijaya will
contest from Gajwel from where the TRS President and acting Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao is also contesting.
Chennur, Zaheerabad, Jubilee Hills, Sanath Nagar and Palakurthi are among the seven constituencies for which the BJP has announced tickets.
With only three days left for filing of nominations to end, the seat adjustment among Congress, Telangana Jana Samiti, TDP and CPI is yet to be finalised.
The 119-member Telangana Assembly will go to polls on the 7th of next month.
