The ninth Bharat Gaurav Punya Kshetra Train, which gives passengers from the two Telugu states a tour of pilgrimage sites in east and north India, commenced its journey from the Secunderabad station on Wednesday morning.
Somaiya Gopinath, a senior citizen passenger, launched the train’s journey.

Apart from Secunderabad, the train can be boarded and de-boarded at eight other locations, which are Kazipet, Khammam, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajamahendravaram, Samarlakota, Pendurthi and Vizianagaram in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Passengers will be taken to Puri, Konark, Gaya, Varanasi, Ayodhya and Prayagraj over a period of nine days.
