ACB raids Jagtial first class magistrate's residence

Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths from Hyderabad raided the residence of Jagtial first additional first class magistrate S Madhu in Karimnagar on Friday following allegations that he had amassed wealth through corrupt practices.

ACB officials led by ASP Ramana Kumar (Hyderabad), DSPs Kiran (Medak), Pratap (Karimnagar), and



eight CIs are participating in the raid, which is still continuing. The officials conducted the raid following directions from the High Court.

Sources said the Jagtial Bar Association had lodged a complaint against the judge with the HC, which in turn instructed the ACB to conduct the raid.
