Accused of school rape case arrested in Hyderabad

Golconda Police arrested the man who is an accused in the rape case which took place in Azaan International School, Tolichowki. He was presented before media on 15th September. Later, he was produced in the court. The magistrate sent him to jail.

DCP of West Zone, Mr. A R Srinivas informed that an employee of Azaan International School had raped a minor girl student. Police registered a case immediately and sent the minor girl to Niloufer Hospital.

The accused is identified as Mohammed Jilani. He had called the girl under the pretext of giving chocolate to her. He



took her to the first floor of the school building and raped her.

Later, the parents of the victim had shifted the girl to a private hospital in Mehdipatnam where the doctors advised them to shift her to Niloufer Hospital.

Police collected enough evidence against the accused. It is making an attempt to get a forensic report.

DCP of West Zone informed that after receiving the forensic report, chargesheet would be filed in a fast-track court and it should be ensured that the culprit gets punished.
