Actor Shivaji arrested from Shamshabad airport

The Cyberabad Police on Wednesday took Actor S Shivaji into custody while he was trying to escape to USA from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad. According to Cyberabad Cybercrime police, after getting credible information from the Airport security officials, they rushed to the Airport and took him into custody. Later, they shifted him to Cyberabad Police Head Office. They reportedly seized the actor's passport and directed him to appear before them on July 11. They said fresh notices were issued to him under 41-A



CrPC.

Earlier, cases were registered against him in connection with Alanda Media case. He was alleged of hatching a conspiracy along with the principal accused in the case former CEO of TV9 V Ravi Prakash. Cheating and forgery case was booked against the actor along the former CEO. When Shivaji did not appear before the investigation officer despite several notices, they had issued a lookout circular against Shivaji to prevent him from leaving the country.
