Adilabad minimum temperature plumets to 3.8 degree Celsius; Hyderabad records 12.5 degree Celsius

Adilabad experienced coldest day in living memory with the minimum temperature plummeting to 3.8 degree Celsius on Tuesday, breaking its all-time record of 3.9 degree Celsius recorded on December 20, 2014.

With the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) saying that winter has set over Telangana with the minimum temperature dipping by 4.1degree Celsius in several districts, weathermen have predicted colder days in coming days.Bhadrachalam too broke



the lowest minimum temperature by recording 12.2 degree Celsius on Tuesday as against 12.5 degree Celsius recorded in December 2010.

The weather bulletin said even in Hyderabad, mercury dipped to 12.5 degrees Celsius from 14.8 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. According to IMD figures, winter made a smooth entry to the city with minimum temperature dropping from 18.7 degree Celsius on December 1 to 12.5 degree Celsius on Tuesday.
