Winter is making Hyderabad feel the chill, with the night temperature falling to 13.7 degree Celsius early on Tuesday, which is the lowest temperature this season. It is 2 degrees less than the normal. The temperature is further expected to drop to 12 degree Celsius over this week.
Tuesday night temperature broke 2017’s record and 13.9 degree Celsius recorded on Monday.
This drop in night temperatures will continue as the state is receiving northwesterly winds which are dry
and cold.
Adilabad was the coldest in the state at 7 degree Celsius while Medak deviated most from the normal recording 10 degree Celsius on Tuesday.
Hanamkonda and Ramagundam recorded 13 degree Celsius, showing 2 degrees departure from the normal. The city’s forecast for Tuesday is mainly clear skies, with maximum and minimum temperatures revolving around 31 degree Celsius and 14 degree Celsius respectively.
