After Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has now stressed the need for both Telugu States to work together for development.
Many people stress that there was a competition between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. But Telangana and Andhra Pradesh together should compete with global cities in development, he said at the World Telugu Federation’s valedictory ceremony here on Sunday.
Telangana and Andhra Pradesh were not competitors but had risen to the level of competing with the best in the world. There was a need to change the thought process, and plans have to be prepared accordingly, he
stressed.
“After bifurcation of the State, instead of competing with each other, striving together for development both the Telugu States will ensure prosperity, and we can emerge as ideal States,” Revanth Reddy said, adding that in the past, Malayalis were found even on Mount Everest selling tea and doing other works.
Competing with them, Telugus had now reached all over the globe, he said, adding that if there were any issues between States, they could be addressed through dialogue. Reiterating that the Telangana government was preparing plans for establishing the Future City spread over 30,000 acres, he said all permissions would be approved through a single window.
