Three years after his last visit to the city, Shah Karim Al Hussaini, the Aga Khan IV will be arriving in Hyderabad on February 26.During his stay, the 81-year-old Shia spiritual leader is scheduled to hold meeting with governor of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, ESL Narasimhan on February 27 at Raj Bhavan. On the same day he will also be meeting deputy chief minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali. Later in the evening, he will meet community members. He will
travel to Mumbai the next day.
He is currently the Imam of the Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims. He is on a 10-day-visit to India on the invitation of Government of India. His tour also coincides with the diamond jubilee year of his leadership as the community’s Imam. As part of the celebrations marking 60 years as the Imam of Shia Ismaili Muslim Community, he is visiting his followers around the world.
